Nineties boybands The Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync will team up with for a new zombie movie.
Yes, you are reading that correctly. Nineties boyband rivals the Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync are to team up for a new zombie movie for The Asylum. The film will be called Dead 7 and was announced at the San Diego Comic Con at the weekend.
The action will be set in a post-apocalyptic town and will revolve around seven bandits. It will star BB’s Nick Carter, along with his wife Lauren Kitt, bandmate AJ McLean and N’ Sync’s Joey Fatone.
The film will play on the Syfy channel, the home of the Sharknado movies.
“They use zombies to control the post-apocalyptic town and the 7 bandits basically come in and save the day,” Nick Carter told Entertainment Tonight.
Fellow BB member Howie Dorough was not at the launch panel in San Diego, but WILL be in Dead 7 as a “latino gunslinger”.
No more news other than that, but we’ll keep you posted. Now, let’s remind ourselves of the magic.
