Neill Blomkamp confirmed on Instagram earlier today that his next official project will be a new ALIENS film.
The director, whose upcoming film CHAPPIE opens in theatres on March 6, teased fans earlier last month with nine renderings of his imagined ALIENS reboot.
It’s still too early to know who will be attached to the film but if Blomkamp’s renderings are something to go by, we could see Sigourney Weaver’s Ripley and Michael Biehn’s Corporeal Hicks return to Weyland-Yutani headquarters (and our screens) real soon.
We’ll keep you up to date as soon as more information comes to hand.
What do you think? Are you excited Blomkamp’s ALIENS got the green light?
Um… So I think it’s officially my next film. #alien
