I have absolutely no idea as to what the following means. This has not come from the studio directly or from a PR company. The following image was posted to the official BACK TO THE FUTURE trilogy Facebook page a couple of hours ago, and while it doesn’t give any explanation, it does suggest a very special BTTF event in 2015.
The year 2015 is of huge significance to the trilogy of movies, as this is the year to which Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) travels to in the future (October 21st, 2015 to be exact). I’m guessing that we’re potentially getting a re-release of all of the movies, as the poster below clearly has the Universal logo embedded on the bottom of it? Look closer and you’ll see it actually says Universal Studios Home Entertainment, so we’re guessing a new Blu-Ray edition?
Or, it could be something else entirely. I’d also keep an eye on this #BTTF2015
