Only last night I was watching an episode of Breaking Bad and marvelling at the performance of Dean Norris as DEA supercop Hank Schrader. Norris has a touch that is both heavier than a ostrich’s backside yet at the same time light as the feathers on it, making me wonder what big project he was going to tackle next.
He’s the main draw in Under The Dome of course, and personally I think he’d make a great Fred Flintstone. But his next role sees him heading to the big screen and back to law and order again as a District Attorney in the remake of THE SECRET IN THEIR EYES, the Argentinian crime thriller which bagged Best Foreign Language Film at the Oscars in 2009.
Norris joins an impressive line-up, including Chiwetel Ejiofor, Nicole Kidman and Julia Roberts in this tense story of former partners trying to solve a terrible crime from their past. Billy Ray is directing and the producers are IM Global and STX.
