Modern day special effects can often be taken for granted and we’re all, critically and the general public, likely to head to the social networks to share our distaste when they’re done badly but when it comes to Industrial Light & Magic work, well then, you’ve usually got something truly stunning and it’s proven here with this VFX reel from CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER.
Marvel changed the stakes again with a huge film that exceeded expectation, especially after I felt the first one was considerably average compared to the rest of the series, but what they do better than most is the sheer level of creativity to what we see up on the screen and truly bringing the characters to life. This reel looks at everything and how it’s put together in a handy 3-minute featurette that’s definitely worth a watch:
