The Wachowski’s may have had their JUPITER ASCENDING moved across to 2015, opening from 6th February, but there’s still a lot of interest around their next creation and rightly so. Today we’ve got four new character posters celebrating the cast of Channing Tatum, Mila Kunis, Eddie Redmayne and the mighty Blade, Sean Bean.
I don’t think we’ve got too much to worry about regarding that initial delay as it seems the effects are huge on this one and there was a lot more work to do than we expected. The film looks pretty good, check out the trailer, and something a little different as it centres around Jupiter Jones (Kunis) who was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things.
Now all grown-up, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people’s houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along…
