Something strange could be coming to the neighborhood in the form of an all- female Ghostbusters crew. And frankly, I’d like to see that!
Fellow Aussie Rebel Wilson (PITCH PERFECT 2), teased viewers on Thursday when she confirmed the possibility of joining Paul Feig’s (BRIDESMAIDS) all-female Ghostbusters reboot.
‘Look, I have had a meeting, but who knows? They have to look at the script when it’s finished… I would even do that without the money truck. I’d do that for free. I probably shouldn’t say that live on TV.’
This would be the second collaboration between Wilson and Feig, who previously worked together on the 2011 smash-hit comedy BRIDESMAIDS. Feig is also currently writing the reboot with its original creator Dan Aykroyd and THE HEAT co-writer Katie Dippold.
Who would you like to see team up with Rebel Wilson in the Ghostbuster reboot?
