Love Has No Colour In ‘Black Or White’ Trailer

If the Michael Jackson classic didn’t get through to you 23 years ago, or if you’re simply too young to remember, here comes a new film to once again remind us that it don’t matter if you’re BLACK OR WHITE. The Kevin Costner and Octavia Spencer starring drama sees Costner battle for custody of his granddaughter when the girl’s paternal grandmother (Spencer) steps in to try and gain custody. In a furious face off of white versus black and race relations thrown to the forefront, it’s pretty obvious that it’ll soon become apparent that colour doesn’t matter. In fact, the film’s poster is even encouraging a hashtag of #lovehasnocolour . The film looks to be funny and sweet, and hopefully a balanced an well considered story will evolve. As long as they don’t just have the Costner and Spencer characters fall in love for an easy fix we should be OK.

BLACK OR WHITE is released on 30th January in the US and is awaiting a UK release date. It stars Kevin Costner, Octavia Spencer, Anthony Mackie, Gillian Jacobs, Jennifer Ehle, Andre Holland, and Bill Burr.
