With only weeks to go before Ridley Scott’s latest historical epic EXODUS: GODS AND KINGS hits cinemas, 20th Century Fox is heating things up with four new featurettes that you can watch below.
Each clip takes a more intimate look at the varying relationships in the film. Beginning with ‘Ridley’s Epic World, we’re shown the epic scale of the world in which Moses (Christian Bale) and Rhamses (Joel Edgerton) reside and how their individual beliefs on leadership, drives conflict into their relationship.
The second clip ‘What Makes You Happy’ introduces Séfora (Maria Valverde) and her intimate relationship with Moses.
Tensions are raised further with the third clip ‘Miriam’, in which Rhamses confronts Moses and his sister Miriam (Indira Varma) over their duplicitous behaviour.
The final clip ‘Strength’, focuses on the growing discord between Rhamses and Moses in the lead up to a battle against their enemies and contains extended footage of the battle scene to whet our appetites.
It’s been nearly 15 years since Scott’s award winning GLADIATOR wowed audiences and spring-boarded Russell Crowe (THE WATER DIVINER, NOAH) to prominence.
Do you think EXODUS: GODS AND KINGS will surpass GLADIATOR’s success and finally bring Edgerton’s incredible talent to the forefront?
EXODUS: GODS AND KINGS opens in theatres on Boxing Day.
