Have you been avoiding the camera phone-filmed shaky footage of the STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS trailer, preferring to wait for the proper footage in all its glory? Well, bless your soul, here’s your reward!
Debuted just minutes ago, here is the much anticipated 88 second teaser for J.J. Abrams directorial STAR WARS debut. We’re not going to pretend you’re reading this – just skip to the video, we don’t mind. Fill your boots with the trailer and scroll down for the first official stills:
So, was it worth it? Sand dunes, storm troopers, a pretty SWEET looking light sabre plus Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac and John Boyega. Interestingly, not even a sneaky peek at returning cast members Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher or Mark Hamill – STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS is setting its early focus on a new generation. “Needs more Adam Driver” is the only note we wrote down during our multiple viewings, that and “Millennium Falcon!!!!!”.
STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS hits cinemas 18th December 2015. Just a year to wait then.
