Watch: Lucasfilm’s First Trailer For Strange Magic

The first trailer for Lucasfilm’s new animated film STRANGE MAGIC has just been released and it’s far far away from what one usually expects from George Lucas.

A madcap fairytale inspired by Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, STRANGE MAGIC is a musical misadventure where elves, fairies, goblins and imps battle it out to possess a powerful love potion.

A number of cinematic and theatrical actors lend their voices to this quietly slated film including Alan Cumming (Broadway’s CABARET, CBS’ The Good Wife), Evan Rachel Wood (CHARLIE COUNTRYMAN), Maya Rudolph (BIG HERO 6, BRIDESMAIDS), and Kristin Chenoweth (Broadway’s Wicked, RIO 2).

Check out the first trailer below!

STRANGE MAGIC is set for release in UK theatres on 11 February 2015.
