Following his impressive turn in INSIDE LLEWYN DAVIS and his casting in the first new STAR WARS sequel STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, Oscar Isaac will lead the villainry in Bryan Singer’s X-MEN: APOCALYPSE for 20th Century Fox. Isaac will play the god-like lead villain Apocalypse in the movie, which is written by Singer, Simon Kinberg, Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris.
X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, the follow-up to this summer’s X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, will be released on May 27th, 2016.
Isaac will next be seen in A MOST VIOLENT YEAR, opposite Jessica Chastain, which is released on the 15th January in the UK.
