If you weren’t excited enough about the huge Marvel slate that’s coming up, we’ve got further fantastic news as Marvel have just informed us that Daniel Brühl has been added to CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR.

Brühl has given stand-out performances in RUSH and INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS and although they’ve not specifically confirmed his character, we’re open to your suggestions in the comments below! In the meantime, producer Kevin Feige had this to say:

“With Daniel’s ability to deliver intense, nuanced performances, we knew we had found yet another great actor to share the screen with some of our biggest heroes.”

The Marvel Cinematic Universe adds CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR to its line-up on 6th May, 2016 and although that seems like a long time away, it’s great to hear that it’ll join Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., and Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther) in the continuation of Joe and Anthony Russo’s directorial team, so there’s a lot to look forward to.
