Coming to UK screens in January is the new film from ‘Harry Potter’ and the upcoming PADDINGTON producer David Heyman. TESTAMENT OF YOUTH is a powerful story of love, war and remembrance, based on the First World War memoir by Vera Brittain, which has become the classic testimony of that war from a woman’s point of view. A searing journey from youthful hopes and dreams to the edge of despair and back again, it’s a film about young love, the futility of war and how to make sense of the darkest times. Quite poignant that we’re posting this today.
The film, from Lionsgate and BBC Films, stars Alicia Vikander, Kit Harington, Taron Egerton, Emily Watson, Hayley Atwell, Colin Morgan, Joanna Scanlan, Alexandra Roach, Jonathan Bailey, Anna Chancellor, Nicholas Le Prevost, Nicholas Farrell, with Dominic West and Miranda Richardson, and hits cinemas on 16th January, 2015.
