‘Avatar and Lord of the Rings At The Same Time’ will be coming to a cinema near you says WARCRAFT director Duncan Jones (MOON, SOURCE CODE) during its movie panel at BlizzCon today.
Featuring visual effects by Industrial Light & Magic (STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, IRON MAN), the film will feature a combination of live-action and CGI that pushes the VFX and motion capture beyond what they through was possible.
‘It’s like the cinematic trailer footage on crack,’ says Robert Kazinsky (PACIFIC RIM) who plays Orgrim (below) in the film.
Surrounded on stage by Warcraft props, Jones assured fans at BlizzCon that the movie will show both sides of the orc vs human battle, focussing on two main heroes Durotan (orc) played by Toby Kebbell (THE FANTASTIC FOUR) and Lothar (human) played by Travis Fimmell (Vikings).
WARCRAFT is scheduled for release in March 2016.
