We’ve just learned that ‘Harry Potter’ and current HORNS star Daniel Radcliffe has officially joined the cast of the supernatural sequel NOW YOU SEE ME 2, alongside Master Of Sex star Lizzie Caplan and international action star Jay Chou. They join returning stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Morgan Freeman, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco and the legend that is Michael Caine.
Radcliffe will play a character named ‘Walter,’ while Caplan will play the mysterious ‘Lula,’ and Chou a supporting role named ‘Li’. We’ve also just received a one-line plot synopsis which goes as follows:
One year after outwitting the FBI and winning the public’s adulation with their mind-bending spectacles, the Four Horsemen resurface in NOW YOU SEE ME 2 only to find themselves face to face with a new enemy who enlists them to pull off their most dangerous heist yet.
Jon M. Chu (GI JOE: RETALIATION) directs from a script by Pete Chiarelli and Ed Solomon. NOW YOU SEE ME 2 opens in the UK on the 10th June, 2016.
