After recovering from walrus transformation in TUSK, Justin Long is now out and looking for romance in COMET. Well, kind of. He plays Dell, a guy who doesn’t believe in love, who decides to date Kimberly (Emmy Rossum), a girl who does. Set in a parallel universe over the course of 6 years, the film looks to be anything but regular, with some stunning sequences of changing backgrounds. Sure, the dialogue sounds a bit hackneyed, but how can it not when simple choice lines are chosen for a trailer? This is the feature length debut of Sam Esmail, and it looks as though he’ll certainly be leaving a mark.
COMET is released on 5th December in the US and stars Justin Long and Emmy Rossum.
