Having just announced another 8 films to add to their extensive universe, Marvel have also revealed that Chadwick Boseman will take on the role of BLACK PANTHER. The star of 42 and GET ON UP, will play the African prince turned superhero and will make his first appearance, in full costume, in CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR. We have also been given our first idea of what the hero will look like thanks to an awesome piece of concept art. Boseman joined Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans on stage, but there was no mention of Benedict Cumberbatch, which may suggest his signing isn’t concrete yet. When asked, Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, said “If it were confirmed, we would have announced it today.”
BLACK PANTHER is set for release on 3rd November 2017.
