Michael Keaton & Ed Norton In Captivating First Clip From Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s ‘Birdman’

On the back of a whole host of huge praise at the London Film Festival, those of us who didn’t see it are massively excited to see the final product of Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s BIRDMAN.

Backed by Fox Searchlight UK and directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, this first clip gives you a good taste of the intrigue and inventiveness to come. Not only do you get a look here at Michael Keaton and Edward Norton, it’s an encapsulating scene with beautiful steady-cam work that just makes you want more.

The film also stars Emma Stone, Naomi Watts and Zach Galifianakis. It’s full title is BiRDMAN or The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance and it swoops into UK cinemas Friday 2nd January. Set up as a black comedy, it tells the story of an actor (Michael Keaton) – famous for portraying an iconic superhero – as he struggles to mount a Broadway play. In the days leading up to opening night, he battles his ego and attempts to recover his family, his career, and himself.
