Warner Bros. unleashed a huge list of planned DC movies just yesterday, and one of them was David Ayer’s SUICIDE SQUAD movie, which is set to hit right after BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE in 2016. Today, we’re hearing that Ryan Gosling, Tom Hardy, Margot Robbie and Will Smith have all been approached for roles.
The film, which is based on the comic book series of the same name, created by Robert Kanigher and Ross Andru, will possibly see a host of DC villain’s contained within in it, potentially including Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Bane, Killer Frost, Poison Ivy, Count Vertigo, Deathstroke, and Harley Quinn.
We have absolutely no idea as to who has been approached for which role (we’re guessing Hardy for Bane – ?), or if they are being looked at for the same roles, but the source is a solid one; The Hollywood Reporter.
As far as we can tell, no offers have been made, and obviously none of the aforementioned have signed on the dotted line. Yet.
Will Smith and Margot Robbie will next be seen in next year’s con-man/woman movie FOCUS.
