Jennifer Jason Leigh, star of such films as SINGLE WHITE FEMALE, THE ROAD TO PERDITION and RUSH (1991) will play the female lead in Quentin Tarantino’s western THE HATEFUL EIGHT, according to The Wrap. The trade also has a synopsis of the movie.
“Hateful Eight” is set in Wyoming following the Civil War. Story follows two bounty hunters, a tough female prisoner and a local sheriff as they wait for a storm to pass with four men who may or may not be attempting to free the prisoner.
We’re guessing that Leigh will play the ‘female prisoner’ role in the film then?
Zoe Bell, Bruce Dern, Walton Goggins, Dana Gourrier, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Madsen, Denis Menochet, James Parks, James Remar, Tim Roth and Kurt Russell will also star in the film, which is set to start shooting in early December for a 2015 release.
