Look: First Viral Video & Sites Appear For ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’

MUnderground

With Bryan Singer confirmed for X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, plus changes for Cyclops, Storm, and Jean Grey who’ll all get younger, new cast members, Fox have wasted no time at all in getting the viral campaign going – Even though we’re two years away from release.

It’s no secret that Singer has a lot of love for these creations and franchise, so bringing him back makes a lot of sense and especially after the huge success of DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. We already know that Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicolas Hoult and the Wolverine Hugh Jackman are also with us again.

To subtly start the excitement, as it hasn’t started filming yet, we’ve discovered two new viral websites (I love a viral campaign) and a video/mini-documentary featuring interviews with scientists. It’s blatantly clear they’re fueling the panic stations of the world, as some talk about how mutants are going to end human-kind. If you’re in the States, you’ll also be able to share your ‘special’ power and register for some free genome sequencing, which is nice.

The video is just below, you can also take a look at the M-Underground Tumblr (#WeAreGiftedby clicking here, and then here to the Tandem Initiative for your genome goodness. Wait, this is just a viral website, right?!

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE opens from 18th – 26th May, 2016 across the globe.

Why is the Memphis Fire Department responding to an earthquake in Washington, D.C.? If the effects were felt that far, why did the reporter not mention it? All of which to say, the production value on this is terribly lazy.
