After Arrow’s fantastic first season, the ground-breaking superhero series returned to screens for another round of archery-filled action. Although the show initially maintained a real-world grounding and realism (taking cues from Christopher Nolan’s DARK KNIGHT trilogy), Season 2 opened up the more fantastical side of the DC Comics Universe with the additions of Solomon Grundy, Deathstroke and The Flash.
Although this bold decision could have compromised Arrow’s original intent, Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim and Andrew Kreisberg proved that this natural expansion moved the series forward in an original and exciting way. Thankfully, the upcoming third season will continue down the super-powered road and give audiences fresh interpretations of characters such as Ra’s Al Ghul, Wildcat, Katana and The Atom. However, before we take another highly-anticipated trip to Starling City, THN have had the wonderful pleasure of sitting down with Colton Haynes and Emily Bett Rickards. The two brilliantly entertaining and talented young stars spoke to us about their characters of Roy and Felicity in Season 2, and also touched upon the upcoming third outing due to hit television screens next month. Check out the video interview below! But I should warn you…beware of rogue hairs, cat noises and hilarious John Barrowman impressions.
Arrow Season 2 is available on DVD and Blu Ray now!
