London Live, the capital’s first 24/7 entertainment channel, interviewed Hollywood actor Dan Aykroyd for the launch of his brand Crystal Head vodka. London Go caught up with the co-creator and star of GHOSTBUSTERS to discuss the highly anticipated film sequel.
On the hot topic of GHOSTBUSTERS 3:
“I think the attitude now is right, it’s just taken a while to get here. We’re 100% assured that there will be another movie within the next two years…We’re thinking, you know, much bigger than just the third movie, we’re thinking ‘How can we make GHOSTBUSTERS last another 20 years?'”
On a potential London-based ghostbusting team:
“I think that that’s a big part of what we would think about in the future, that it’s an international thing. It would be rich to do something here in the UK because there’s so many possibilities. There are so many great locations here and ideas, and in fact true spirits here that are living right now among us.”
And, finally, who he would like to see lead the team:
“There is so much talent coming out of the UK but I would love to see Jason Statham as a Ghostbuster in some capacity. He’s a lot of fun.”

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
