So far, fans of THE HUNGER GAMES series have only been given a hint of what to expect from Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in the new film THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART 1, with a look at her back and that infamous side plait. With this new Katniss poster, however, fans can finally see Katniss in all her rebellious glory.
Lawrence’s Katniss is dark, serious and surrounded with flames in the image, with her Mockingjay wings spread out behind her. She is also clad in some pretty intense fighting clothing and appears ready for battle. The poster is a teaser for fans who will get to see the new trailer in just a couple of days.
THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART 1 is directed by Francis Lawrence and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Julianne Moore, Natalie Dormer, Stef Dawson, Evan Ross, Lily Rabe, Patina Miller, Wes Chatham, Elden Henson and Robert Knepper.
