If there was an upcoming actress who’s hugely in demand at the moment, it’s surely WOLF OF WALL STREET’s Margot Robbie. She’s already attached to TARZAN, has just finished FOCUS with Will Smith and is wanted for GHOST IN THE SHELL. Today’s news is that she’s set to join Sons Of Anarchy‘s Charlie Hunnam in THE MOUNTAIN BETWEEN US, as adaptation of Charles Martin’s novel.
The film version will be an intense tale love and survival tale, which follows two key characters. Ashley (Robbie) is a writer who’s flying East for her wedding with Ben (Hunnam), a Doctor heading home after a medical seminar. In cold conditions, their flight is cancelled and they charter a flight but on the way, the pilot has a heart attack and they crash into a snowy mountain in the middle of nowhere – How unthoughtful of that pilot!
Obviously, there’s everything to come after that but I think both actors could do this pretty smartly and so hope this is the final confirmation for them, before the film truly begins production. Directed by PARADISE NOW and OMAR’s Hany Abu-Assad, we’ll bring you all the latest as we hear it.
