After the major success of 24: Live Another Day, Jack Bauer could be blowing up cinema screens as plans for a film adaptation of the show is still in talks to happen.
It was only four years ago that we waved goodbye to 24, and it almost seemed like it would never return, until 2013 when TV bosses announced a come back. With the help of returning cast members such as Kiefer Sutherland and Mary Lynn Rajskub, the miniseries became a hit with audiences sparking a potential film and a tenth series.
With the success of a miniseries will 24 be able to work much shorter as a film? It might just work; in 2008, Fox released a prequel TV movie, 24: REDEMPTION, which had good reviews from fans and critics at the time. Maybe it’s time for everyone to see Bauer in pure Hollywood glory.
