It’s been a bumpy road for Legendary’s SEVENTH SON. Originally planned for release this autumn, the film has been pushed back to February next year after Warner Bros. and Legendary parted ways. Now Universal are set to distribute and so we can have a look at the latest poster and trailer. SEVENTH SON tells the story of the last two knights whom must protect the world from the forces of darkness. There’s plenty of monster goodness, which is always a plus as far as I’m concerned, but despite a THE BIG LEBOWSKI reunion of Julianne Moore and Jeff Bridges, the film looks as though it is going to struggle to find an audience. Hopefully the monster fights are as fun as they have the potential to be. Less fun is the awful poster, which is the same kind of Photoshopped mess used by the likes of The Asylum, and other straight to DVD titles.
SEVENTH SON is released 6th February. It stars Jeff Bridges, Julianne Moore, Kit Harington, Ben Barnes, Djimon Hounsou, and Olivia Williams.

His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies.
