Exciting news for any Dan Brown fans! INFERNO is set to begin filming in April of next year with Tom Hanks and Ron Howard attached to the project. The film will continue the series inspired by Dan Brown’s novels which centre on Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon.
It has also been confirmed that Tom Hanks will reprise the role of Robert Langdon, and Ron Howard is set to produce and direct. The series continues from THE DA VINCI CODE and ANGELS AND DEMONS, which has had a solid following from book fans and film fans looking to escape the ever popular superhero phase that has been supercharged by Marvel over recent years.
INFERNO tells the story of Langdon awakening in an Italian hospital suffering with amnesia. Joining forces with Sienna Brooks, the doctor who assumes the role of helping Langdon recover his memories and in turn prevent a crazed individual from unleashing a plague connected to Dante’s Inferno.
