The PCC To Show Robin Williams Double Bill

Robin Williams

Every film fan that lives in or around London knows all about the Prince Charles Cinema. Located in the Leicester Square region of the capitol the cinema screens popular new indie releases as well as a how heap of retrospective screenings.

We at THN practically live within its walls and who can blame us when they do crazy things like a JURASSIC PARK triple feature and an Arnold Schwarzenegger all-nighter. They also have a rather nifty little quiz that happens every month and is a must for film fanatics in the capitol (click here for more information).

It is always a sad affair when a big name of Hollywood passes away but the PCC always endeavour to make sure that the actor or actress is properly remembered. When Harold Ramis passed they had a rather inspired GROUNDHOG DAY double bill, that’s right GROUNDHOG DAY played twice in a row. Next up on their memorial screenings is a double bill for Robin Williams. The event will take place on Saturday 6th September but it seems that they are at a loss as to what movies to play. They have stated over on their Facebook page that the event will be a double screening but given the actors vast array of movies they just can’t decide.

The decision has been left to the general public with suggestions welcomed on their page (click here). All profits from ticket sales will go to the very worthy charity Mind. And don’t worry is your favourite doesn’t get the votes as the venue are planning on running a season of the late actors work towards the end of the year.
