I’m going to start with a teaser and tell you that THN have already seen the opener ‘Deep Breath’ for series 8 of the new Doctor Who and, what’s that – you want spoilers? Not a chance.
What I will say is that we’ll share the Q&A after the first episode airs, this Saturday 23rd August, which delves into the process of Peter Capaldi’s 12th Doctor, his experience and new relationship with the cast. The episode is also takes on an interesting change of pace, with a very distinct new vibe and Gothic tone. Some might say, those hardcore Whovians, that it’s a return to the old days and I found it unexpectedly refreshing but still laced with plenty of surprises.
These brand new stills show more of the new/old world coming our way that are – pretty much – all from the first episode. The only one I didn’t see is the one of Clara (Jenna Coleman) in the TARDIS but you will get a look, and it’s all brand new – of course! Is there more circularly things inside? You’ll find out.
