‘Love Beyond’ Coming To Wembley Arena This October

In 2013, new musical Love Beyond premiered in Brighton to standing ovations and now writer/producer Richard Haley and director Tabitha Webb are bringing the show to London, where it will play 2 nights at Wembley Arena. Here’s the lowdown on the show:

“Love Beyond tells the greatest love story of all time, an epic, sweeping tale that echoes through eternity. A story of the battle to see love triumph over all, inextricably woven into the fabric of human history. A journey beginning with the joy of new life and hope, which travels through a dark season of hopelessness, despair and incredible sacrifice to finally arrive at a place of hope, redemption and renewal of life. It’s the Bible as never seen before through an uplifting and spectacular musical experience that will stay with you forever.”

Judging from the pictures and trailer, which you can check out below, we’re expecting a tone more akin to Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat than The Book of Mormon, but we’re always excited by a contemporary re-telling of a classic story. Throw in a host of West End stars, one of the biggest live orchestras on any London stage and an original score and consider our interest piqued.

The cast includes Dave Willetts, the first man to play the leading roles in both Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera, Simon Shorten (Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera), and J Marie Cooper, who featured in the first UK series of ‘The Voice’.

Here’s those production pictures and a trailer for the upcoming Wembley event:
