Jimmy Fallon, Conan O’Brien Commemorate & Celebrate Robin Williams

nup-138537-0616

Among the mountains of tributes and love being shown for the tragic loss of the great Robin Williams, we just wanted to share this two poignant and heartfelt responses to his death from two of the finest American chat-show hosts out there at the moment.

What’s particularly special about these clips is they show how deeply he touched everyone’s life. Just the first reaction (the night before) from Conan gives a delve into that real side of people that we don’t always see in the mainstream, and then on his next show below, they had the chance to really talk about their memories. You’ll hear about an amazing gift that Williams bought Conan when he was going through a rough time himself and clips of ‘the best talk-show guest in the world‘ – Can any of us doubt that sure statement?

We also wanted to share Jimmy Fallon’s reaction and celebration of his life, his time when it was Johnny Carson’s show and a tremendous impression but, more than anything, the love that everyone had for Robin. The reports coming out just continue to give us more details of the honest man behind the madness, the kindness, his generosity and goodness.

I’m still gutted that we’ve lost such a great soul and he’s been a huge favourite (Like for many!) since I first saw Mork and Mindy back in the 80’s. From there – in no particular chart-like order – it’s been GOOD WILL HUNTING, HOOK, ALADDIN, ONE HOUR PHOTO, INSOMNIA, MRS DOUBTFIRE, AWAKENINGS, GOOD MORNING VIETNAM, and so many more. He’s an icon to me and will always remain that way, so rest in peace you fantastic, crazy man you and now, before I delve into the sadness again, it’s time to celebrate his brilliance with everyone – which is what he was truly about – and it’s all about  making people laugh and feel-good:

R.I.P. Robin Williams, 1951-2014. Please do check out our tribute to him over here.
