‘Jurassic World’ Wraps Up Shooting

SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED director, Colin Trevorrow, has wrapped production on JURASSIC WORLD, the fourth instalment of the dinosaur theme-park focused series that started with Steven Spielberg’s original over 20 years ago. The announcement of the end of principal photography came along with a tease of one of the film’s  dinosaurs, our old friend the T-Rex. JURASSIC WORLD looks set to reignite the franchise after the frankly hilariously awful JURASSIC PARK 3. Trevorrow is an interesting choice for a big franchise as his previous sole effort was a little independent comedy. Still, Marvel have certainly proved successful with unexpected directorial talent, so why not Universal too? Chris Pratt is certainly a great choice as lead, having had two of the biggest hits of the year with THE LEGO MOVIE and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY.

JURASSIC WORLD is released on 12th June 2015, as apparently a lot of the dinosaurs have to be added in post-production. Turns out they don’t work well with people. Jerks. Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Judy Greer, Katie McGrath, Lauren Lapkus and Andy Buckley also join the cast.
