Disney’s ‘Alice In Wonderland: Through The Looking Glass’ Starts Filming!

ALICE IN WONDERLAND

The sequel to Disney’s hit 2010 film ALICE IN WONDERLAND has begun principal photography.  ALICE IN WONDERLAND: THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS will reunite Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, and Helena Bonham Carter whilst introducing comedic funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen.  Fans will also be pleased to hear that Michael Sheen will be back as the ever late white rabbit.

The film is set to be directed by THE MUPPETS and MUPPETS MOST WANTED writer and director, James Bobin.  Based on Lewis Carroll’s time travelling ‘Through The Looking Glass’ story, this film will follow Alice’s journey back to Underland and beyond.  According to sources, Sacha Baron Cohen is set to play a character called ‘Time’, a possible villian perhaps?

Director of the original, Tim Burton will produce the sequel whilst his frequent collaborator Danny Elfman is back to compose the score.  Oscar winning costumer designer Colleen Atwood is also set to return in what is sure to be another visually stunning film.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND: THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS is set to be released on 27th may 2016.
