The live-action/animation production of Disney’s THE JUNGLE BOOK has two new cast members- oscar-winner Christopher Walken, who will play lovable King Louie, and Giancarlo Esposito, who will voice wolf pack leader Akela.
Esposito is best known from his role in ‘Breaking Bad’, which earned him an Emmy nomination. Esposito and Walken will be joining Ben Kingsley as Bagheera, Lupita Nyong’o as Rasksha, Idris Elba as Shere Khan and Scarlett Johansson as Kaa.
The star of THE JUNGLE BOOK will be played by Neel Sethi. Mowgli will actually be the only character who will appear physically on the screen.
THE JUNGLE BOOK is directed by IRON MAN’s Jon Favreau and is set to be released in the US in 3D on 9th October 2015.
