The breakout star of this week’s big release GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Chris Pratt has stated that he would love to make a return for the LEGO MOVIE sequel.
The ex-OC actor voiced the main role of Emmett in the phenomenally successful animated movie. Whilst speaking to The Metro about GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY he voiced his enthusiasm for returning for the already announced sequel.
“I don’t know anything. I hope I’m back. I loved working with Chris and Phil and I hope Emmett is crucial to the story. But I can also see a world where they can kind of do anything and call it The Lego Movie 2, do you know what I mean? It could be about a different character, it’s not like other cartoons in that way. I hope that Emmett isn’t disposable; he was such a great big part of that movie. I’m so proud of that movie. There was a nice buzz around it during the press for it. People hadn’t seen anything like it in a long time. But I don’t know. I hope [I’m back].”
Everything really is awesome for the Pratt at the moment. He is set to star in next summer’s JURASSIC WORLD before returning as Star Lord for a GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY sequel which was announced at this weekend’s Comic Con.
