Hold On! It’s The First Clip From ‘Into The Storm’

Now tornado thrillers are few and far between but when they’re done right – looks at you TWISTER (1996) – then they can really have an impact. This first full clip gives a further insight at INTO THE STORM that stars Richard Armitage, and covers the span of a single day, in the town of Silverton as it’s ravaged by an unprecedented onslaught of tornadoes.

This clip ‘What’s happening?‘ looks like early days in the movie as the cast don’t seem that concerned with a tornado forming right into front of them and ripping through a building. Obviously there’s panic but they’re right in the heart of the action, very quickly! As a whole this film could work but if the CGI is even slightly off, it’s going to be noticed in this day and age of LORD OF THE RINGS and AVATAR.

Whatever we get in the end, it could be great escapism so here’s hoping – right?! Watch it now and let us know what you think!

INTO THE STORM opens in the UK on August 20th. It’s directed by Steven Quale and co-stars Sarah Wayne Callies, Matt Walsh, Nathan Kress, and Jeremy Sumpter. Some official words:
