Comic-book movies have mostly focused on the superhero world as of late, but in the early 2000s Hollywood was taking bigger chances on darker and more independent comics such as ROAD TO PERDITION, GHOST WORLD and arguably the biggest of the bunch, Frank Miller’s SIN CITY. Owen’s recasting is down to the character having undergone plastic surgery before the events of the first film, which this is a prequel to.
SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR is released 22nd August in the US and 25th August in the UK. It stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Eva Green, Jessica Alba, Juno Temple, Mickey Rourke, Josh Brolin, Rosario Dawson, Jamie Chung, Jeremy Piven, Bruce Willis, and Jaime King.
Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
