It was one of the ‘must-see‘ drama-thrillers of last year and although I know that’s said quite a lot, about many things, BBC Two’s The Fall was a very special series indeed starring Gillian Anderson and Jamie Dornan.
If you haven’t seen the series yet, we’d recommend tracking it down before the new season hits. It’s a psychological thriller that examines the lives of two hunters. One is serial killer Paul Spector (Dornan) who stalks his victims in and around Belfast and the other is talented female Detective Superintendent Stella Gibson (Anderson) from the MET who is brought in to catch him. What we’ve seen so far was enthralling, and we’re very eager to see where it goes next. This isn’t a spoiler either because so much that happens and a quite unique, fascinating touch to proceedings.
This first teaser trailer for season two echoes the season one teaser we saw in tone and vibe, we’ve also added in an image that the BBC released on Wednesday. I simply cannot wait to see where this goes next, they managed to create something original with a strong female lead, alongside Northern Irish actors showing off huge talent and it’s all set in Belfast.
