Missing the World Cup already? Well, you can get your Brazilian fix with two new trailers for upcoming anthology film RIO, I LOVE YOU (RIO, EU TE AMO).
The movie has an ensemble cast from around the globe, as well as a medley of directors, including Fernando Meirelles (CITY OF GOD, THE CONSTANT GARDENER), Stephan Elliott (THE ADVENTURES OF PRISCILLA, QUEEN OF THE DESERT) and Carlos Saldanha (ICE AGE: THE MELTDOWN, ICE AGE: DAWN OF THE DINOSAURS, RIO, RIO 2). Each director’s segment follows a love story in a different part of the city.
It’s the third instalment of Emmanuel Benbihy’s CITIES OF LOVE franchise, which also includes PARIS, JE T’AIME and NEW YORK, I LOVE YOU.
RIO, I LOVE YOU is released in selected Brazilian cinemas later this year. More when we hear about US and UK release dates.

Claire Joanne Huxham comes from the south-west, where the cider flows free and the air smells of manure. She teaches A-level English by day and fights crime by night. When not doing either of these things she can usually be found polishing her Star Trek DVD boxsets. And when she can actually be bothered she writes fiction and poetry that pops up on the web and in print. Her favourite film in the whole world, ever, is BLADE RUNNER.
