Marvel’s ‘Ant-Man’ Hires Another Two Writers

There’s nothing more concerning than any film hiring, re-hiring, directors leaving…and ANT-MAN is currently going through the mill of changes.

After Edgar Wright left behind years of work, and great stuff we’re sure, in order to keep hold of his creative integrity Marvel’s big screen, small hero adventure is looking decidedly iffy. I haven’t known a such a big project for ages that’s given so much hope and now is left flapping in the wind between various writers and rumours. After Wright left, Adam McKay gave us a little rewrite and then also left with YES MAN and THE BREAK-UP’s Peyton Reed has taken the reigns. Also, we’re not finished yet, as today’s news (Thanks to Latino-Review.com) is that two new writers Gabriel Ferrari and Andrew Barrer have come in for another refresh.

Both writers are newbies to the big scene and wrote the screenplay for the ‘modernise retelling‘ of SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH (2017) so that’s a random choice but at least they can’t be judged too harshly yet by the baiting media. saying all this, the rewrites aren’t exactly new though and with San Diego Comic Con just around the corner, let’s hope for some proper answers and maybe surprises at that film and comic gloryfest.

ANT-MAN is currently still set for a July 17th 2015 release but we wouldn’t be surprised if that changes somewhat and we’re all wondering if one day we’ll find out why Wright left!
