Nope, it isn’t some timely DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES tie-in from the Coen Brothers where Caesar manages to rule a small selection of Hollywood actors in a spoof comedy, it’s more big names being added to – intriguingly – their new movie that’s set in Hollywood in the 1950’s!
As we previously reported, they’ve already picked up Josh Brolin and George Clooney (I told you!) and now are in discussions with Channing Tatum, Tilda Swinton and Ralph Fiennes – the latter two reunited via Wes Anderson – for HAIL, CAESAR!.
The film goes under the basic premise of: ‘A Hollywood fixer in the 1950s works to keep the studio’s stars in line.’ and the comedy-drama all based around a real-life story of Eddie Mannix – who’ll be played by Clooney.
We’ll being you all the latest as we hear it, HAIL, CAESAR! is currently just being put together, so no dates at this stage.
