It doesn’t really matter what you say about THE INBETWEENERS MOVIE. Sure, it wasn’t a great movie, but it was a very, very profitable one. Making £57,699,138 worldwide, from a £3.5 million budget, the film was very, very profitable, so the arrival of THE INBETWEENERS 2 two years on was a given. This time the action switches down under (tee-hee), and the TV series and the original film’s writers Damon Beesley and Iain Morris return to pen the script, and also turn a hand to directing. The first proper, dirty as you like trailer has just been unleashed for the movie, which arrives in cinemas on the 6th August.

The hotly anticipated follow up to the UK’s most successful comedy film of all time, THE INBETWEENERS 2 sees our favourite foursome visit Australia. Simon Bird, James Buckley, Blake Harrison & Joe Thomas are joined by additional cast members Emily Berrington, Freddie Stroma and David Field.  THE INBETWEENERS 2 is written and directed by series creators, Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, and produced by Spencer Millman (“The Mighty Boosh”, “Man Down”).  The film is produced by Bwark Productions, a Zodiak Media company, and co-financed with Film4. Entertainment Film Distributors are distributing the film in the UK & Ireland.
