Watch: Trailer For Found Footage Horror ‘Come Back To Me’

Here’s a trailer to get you twitching the curtains to see what the neighbours are up to at night. New supernatural horror, COME BACK TO ME uses the tried and tested found-footage trope, but it looks like there might be a new twist.

Katie Walder plays a woman recovering from a car accident, who’s suffering from blackouts. Things get even more weird when she finds she’s pregnant…but her husband (Matt Passmore) is infertile. Sounds pretty icky – I’m already thinking of KILL BILL’s Buck, but it turns out the truth is even freakier.

The trailer (below) gives away some big plot points. It seems the creepy neighbour (Nathan Keyes) is involved in some late night necromancy – although to bring back the dead, you need, well, dead things first and CCTV placed in the poor woman’s bedroom reveals some unbelievable happenings that’ll make the Klopteks in THE BURBS look normal.

COME BACK TO ME is written and directed by Paul Leyden (yes, as in Aussie soap actor from As the World Turns) and distributed by Freestyle. It’s released in limited cinemas and on digital platforms from July 25.

Claire Joanne Huxham comes from the south-west, where the cider flows free and the air smells of manure. She teaches A-level English by day and fights crime by night. When not doing either of these things she can usually be found polishing her Star Trek DVD boxsets. And when she can actually be bothered she writes fiction and poetry that pops up on the web and in print. Her favourite film in the whole world, ever, is BLADE RUNNER.
