We are sad to announce that legendary voice actor and radio host Casey Kasem died on 15th June, aged 86. It is believed the actor had been suffering from dementia for several months.
Casem was perhaps most well known for voicing Shaggy on the hit cartoon series SCOOBY DOO. Classic cartoon fans will have recognised his voice on other popular cartoons including the original TRANSFORMERS.
He was also well know in the US for hosting a weekly radio show and voice of ‘American Top 40’ starting in 1970 and retiring in 2009.
Casem leaves behind wife Jean and four children.
