The release date of GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is fast approaching and the excitement in THN towers is approaching fever-pitch proportions. Director James Gunn has managed to make one of Marvel’s least know group of heroes the most hotly anticipated film of the summer.
Starring the diverse cast of Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Vin Diesel, Glenn Close, Benicio Del Toro, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Josh Brolin and Karen Gillan, the film focusses on a group of odd bod out-laws who must unite to take down one of the galaxies biggest baddies.
The last few weeks have seen us treated to individual character posters and a second lengthy trailer. To keep us wanting more we have been given one more trailer, more of a teaser really which offers a better look at Glenn Close’s role in proceedings. Check it out below:
Marvel are clearly pumping a lot of money into the marketing campaign hoping that we would all get hooked the feeling that we want to go see the lesser known super-team. Let’s face it though all they really needed to say was ‘come watch the gun-toting bad-ass talking raccoon’ and we’d have all been clamoring for the studio to take our money.
GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY is released worldwide on 2st August.
