Idris Elba seems to effortlessly switch between uber-cool and incredibly intense in an instant and this first trailer for NO GOOD DEED is no exception.
Directed by Luther‘s Sam Miller, this thriller stars Elba as a dangerous killer convict on the run and eventually finds his way into the house of Terri (Taraji P. Henson) and her young daughter. They ramp up the tension and bring out all the flickering thriller/horror tricks for this first insight and although – once again – I think it shows far too much in quick snippets, with both Elba and Henson looking strong, and a PANIC ROOM vibe, this could be one to watch out for.
NO GOOD DEED also stars Leslie Bibb, Kate del Castillo, Kelly O’Neal and Henry Simmons. It opens in the UK on October 31st (Halloween-thriller-fest) and in the USA on September 12th, check it out:
