Jeremy Renner Confirms His Return to ‘Mission: Impossible 5’

Jeremy Renner has confirmed he will continue his role as William Brandt in MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 5.  He will rejoin Tom Cruise and Simon Pegg in the hit action packed franchise due for release Christmas 2015.

Asked if he would be interested in a role for the second series of TRUE DETECTIVE the actor mentioned his schedule is rather full.

“It’s kind of unlikely. In fact, I’m kind of strapped time-wise doing Avengers 2, and Mission: Impossible 5 is rearing its head, and then they want to do another Bourne movie. It’s unlikely I can find the time right now. And that’s all right. It’s just really high-class problems — pretty awesome to have. Even if I really wanted to do it, which I don’t, I couldn’t.”

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE-GHOST PROTOCOL was the highest grossing film of the franchise and with a confirmation that the fifth film will be shot in London later this year, I can see this being another hit.

The film will be directed by EDGE OF TOMORROW writer and JACK REACHER director Christopher McQuarrie.

Keep checking back for more updates.
