A brand new US trailer has been released for Michel Gondry’s latest project MOOD INDIGO, starring Audrey Tautou and Romain Duris.
Duris stars as Colin, a lonely scientist living in an eccentric world. After professing his desire to find his one true love, his friends set him up with Chloe (Tautou), with Colin believing his life has truly begun. However, when Chloe falls ill it’s up to her new husband to cure her.
Gondry is probably best know for the spectacular and heart-rending ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND (my favourite film ever!), with MOOD INDIGO reminding me of a cross between ETERNAL… and AMELIE, the film considered Tautou’s break-out role. However, will anything ever live up to Gondry’s debut feature film? Sadly, probably not.
MOOD INDIGO will arrive in US cinemas from 18th July. The film is currently awaiting a UK release date.
